Bill O'Connor is an independent consultant specializing in management, strategic & financial planning, and infrastructure development assistance to early stage and financially distressed companies. Along with serving numerous U.S. companies, he has extensive experience in the Pacific Rim and Northern Europe.

Bill has been involved in a variety of industries with companies ranging from pre-seed start-ups to third-generation financially distressed organizations. Bill spent 13 years with the Hillman Company, a Pittsburgh-based, billion dollar investment organization. For eight of those years he provided C-level management to a variety of Hillman's venture capital portfolio companies.

After his tour in Vietnam, Bill worked his way through Clarkson University receiving his degree in accounting. He then received his CPA certificate in New York State. Bill performed audit and tax activities for four years with Ernst & Young before joining the Hillman Company.
